Second Grade Super Spellers! What a great start to a new year!👏
Hackers! 4th graders worked hard on coming up with secret codes in science class this week. They had to design a visual code and a sound code to decipher the message to a partner.
Learning about time and construction of clocks, 5th graders got to enjoy the sun today and try out their homemade sundials.
What better way to learn than through food!? Students in Mr.Dekker's South Dakota history class were treated to some fry bread and sweet toppings. Dessert is a great way to end the week back, especially when learning history with it!
Kudos to Cheyenne Fuller for dominating the State High School Girls wrestling scene in both A and B with her impressive reversals. Her remarkable ability to turn the tables and gain control from the bottom position is a testament to her skill and determination. Keep pushing boundaries, Cheyenne! Sully Buttes is thrilled to celebrate your achievements.

The 7th grade Computer Multimedia class did an introduction project. They created a document and presentation about any topic. They got to explore and find new tools to use with Word and PowerPoint.
***Attention Middle School Girls Parents***
We are excited to announce the launch of a middle school girls' weight training program starting next week.
The workout, which has been designed by Lewis Hofer, will be supervised and provided by multiple ABO staff members and will take place twice a week. The program aims to build strength and confidence in our middle school female athletes and is an important step toward enhancing their athletic development.
All middle school girls are invited to attend these workouts after school. This will be a 10-week program.

Due to the road conditions, the ABO school district will have a 9:45 am start today, Thursday, January 9. The Blunt route bus will depart from Blunt at 9:00 am. Please allow for extra drive time and reduce your speed as you come to school.
ABO School District is proud of Sully Buttes Alumni, Jackie Barber. Jackie has been appointed as the 35th Secretary of the U.S. Senate by Republican Sen. John Thune. She will be the eighth woman and second person from South Dakota to hold the position.

Tomorrow, during the Sully Buttes vs. Highmore-Harrold basketball game, there will be a chili feed put on by the Highmore-Harrold FCCLA.
NHS induction will be Monday, Jan 13 @ 6:00 pm at the school. Site is TBD. All patrons are invited to help celebrate our new members of the Sully Buttes NHS.
