The South Dakota Statewide Family Engagement Center will be offering Common Sense Parenting as a free online class. This class is designed for those parenting school age children, but childcare providers report it is helpful as well. Enrollees should plan to join all six sessions at the scheduled times. Preregistration required. The ABO School District neither endorses nor sponsors the organization or activity represented in this document. The distribution of this material is provided as a community service.

Here is an update about the middle school volleyball workout schedule. We had to make some changes last week due to the work in the MPR. Tuesdays: Middle school players can come to lifting at 8:15 but do not need to come to volleyball workouts at 7:00. This workout time is focused on high school. Thursdays: Middle school players can come to lifting at 7:00 AM. Middle school volleyball workouts will be 8:15 to 10:15 AM. This follows the calendar that was handed out at the end of the school year. Again, due to the work in the MPR and schedule changes last week, we wanted to let everyone know the plan for the rest of the summer.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Jalen Lamb on his election to the school board. We also express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Bob Graff for his remarkable 39 years of dedicated service. While some community members may have mixed feelings about the election results, it is indeed a privilege to choose between a candidate who has devoted nearly four decades to our district and a Sully Buttes alumnus who has returned to our community with his growing family. We deeply appreciate all that Mr. Graff has contributed over the years, including his roles in teaching, officiating, coaching, and currently driving a bus for our students. We welcome Mr. Lamb and are confident that he will be a valuable asset to our school district. We are truly fortunate to have both of you! Thank you!
