For the middle school volleyball summer program, please follow the paper calendar that was sent home. We will have our first volleyball workout on Thursday at 8:00 AM. Middle school volleyball players are not required to be at weight lifting. If you have any questions, you can contact Coach Fischer or Coach Pittmann.
School Board Election for Representation Are #5 is Tuesday, June 3. Voting is at the Phoenix Center in Onida. Polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Only registered voters in Reprentation Area #5 are eligible to vote. Jalen Lamb is challenging incumbent Robert Graff.

So proud of our Charger athletes that competed at the state track meet this weekend! Payge Bakker, Olivia Olson, Gavin Barber, Annaliese VanZee, Kadyn Westergren, and Tomi White represented our community so well! Annaliese placed 3rd in the javelin with a throw of 124'10" and Olivia placed 5th in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 46.66. Way to go Chargers!!
The ABO School District will be the host site for the Women's Ag Day in Onida, SD on June 11, 2025.
State Track Schedule
Due to the weather there has been a time change for the Central Plains Regional Track Meet. Field Events will begin at 11:30 AM and Running Events will begin at 1:00 PM for the 4x800 and 2:00 PM for all other running events.
A HUGE Shout Out to Oahe Electric and East River Electric for their generosity in replacing a football light pole for the district! A cold, wet, and windy day but they showed up and got it done!
We gathered on Friday to o"fish"ally say good bye to staff members who will be moving on this summer.

Wrapping up the school year, the intro to ag middle school class got to assemble official dress. Students were tasked with creating the official FFA jacket out of construction paper. Students did an awesome job!
Central Plains Regional Track Meet Schedule
Due to the projected forecast, the Region Golf Tournament in Pierre has been rescheduled from Monday, May 19th to Thursday, May 22nd. The start time on Thursday will be 10:00 AM.
