Our K-6th grade art students explored the life and vibrant art of Claude Monet! They learned about his impressionist style and the beautiful ways he captured light and color. Inspired by Monet's masterpieces, the students dove into their own art projects, creating colorful and expressive pieces that reflected his unique vision. A fun and creative time was had by all as they channeled their inner Monet! To see their art pieces close up please visit Mrs. Tassler website on the following link: https://sites.google.com/view/mrstassler/claude-monet

With the Super Bowl coming up, the 6th grade class is participating in the READ Bowl. We are in Quarter 3, and have heard encouragement from author Dav Pilkey, Atlanta Falcons players Zack Harrison and Justin Schaffer, and ESPN's Mike Reiss. The class is also divided into teams in their own competition to read the most. So far the students have read a total of 4,672 minutes. We still have two quarters left to go!
