Frida the Elf is saying goodbye to our amazing art students! 😭✨ She set up a special "Kiss Goodbye Booth" today, and it was so sweet to see the students give her a proper farewell. We'll miss her mischievous antics and the festive cheer she brought to our classroom.

The second trial in Judge Dekker's court, Julie Stone v. John Burton occurred on Thursday, with John Burton (Wesley) being acquitted of all charges. Great job by all through both trials. We have some future lawyers roaming the halls of SBHS!

Christmas came a little early for 4th Grade today!! This fall the 4th Grade ELA Class spent some time being authors and illustrators as they worked to publish their very first book, and today they got to bring them home!! The class chose an overall theme of, Ocean Animals. Then they each chose a specific sea animal as their main character, and wrote an imaginative story about them. These kids spent time brainstorming, writing, rewriting, editing, proofreading, and perfecting their work. They were able to create an illustration to go with it, too; and when completed we shipped it off for publishing. They were so excited to receive their books today! Hard work pays off and these books are top notch! The kids were able to showcase their interests and challenge themselves with this one, and it proved to be a project they all loved! I'm so proud of them and hope it is a keepsake they cherish forever! If you know a 4th Grader, ask them to share their book with you! If you don't, swing by the Sully Area Library to view the newest book to hit the shelves!🥰
