Science fruit or is it a science vegetable? 3rd graders were busy dissecting radishes, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, and celery as they are trying to see if the garden item had seeds inside them or not. If they have seeds, they are a "science fruit". Thank you Bob and Brenda Hyde for the fantastic items.

Our 3rd graders had a spooktacular time in Art class today! 👻🎨 They created these amazing value gradient Ghost paintings using a variety of colors. Their creativity and skill were on full display!

Members of the ABO school district as well as community members met with a team from the SD Statewide Family Engagement Center to do a research study and Family Friendly Walk Through of the school. The team then brainstormed ways to promote family engagement for our students. This is a cooperative effort, and continued follow-up will be held over the next 18 months.


3rd grade started a new math chapter today and it's all about Division. They busted out the counters and learned how to put them into equal groups!







Tomorrow's MS volleyball matches @ Mobridge-Pollock will have two games. This is a change from the original plan of three games.

📅 When: Immediately following the JV Game (we will put five minutes on the clock, and fans will come and serve and try to win a "Think Pink t-shirt."

🎗️ All proceeds go to the Helmsley Cancer Center in Pierre; if you would rather not participate but want to donate, our volunteers will accept donations. But feel free to give that money to a student and have them go out and serve.

Students enjoyed shopping at Mr. Hermosa's points store. They earn points throughout the week by finishing assignments, staying on task, and having good behavior.
