Additionally, Highmore-Harrold will be hosting their Dig for a Cure Cancer night tonight during the girls MS and HS volleyball matches. On Thursday, the Sully Buttes FFA members helped out at Gross Farm's Pumpkin Patch. Members helped Mrs. Kinney's preschoolers pick pumpkins, lead students around a corn maze, and helped with snack time. Thanks for the opportunity to have us help Gross Farms!









Middle School Ag + Senior Ag Structures
Students from both classes have been out in the shop working on projects. The middle school class will be coming home with wooden pumpkins shortly! The ag structures class have been working on creating mock electrical walls and wiring outlets.

Intro to AFNR
- Through out this week students have learned about natural resources. On Wednesday, students completed a scavenger hunt to find natural resources, non renewable resources, and pollutants. It was successful including Miss P being chased by a snake.

Intro to Ani Sci
- In class, students began learning about the external parts of cattle by creating a scale model steer. The next day students learned about the wholesale cuts of beef. To conclude the week, students began adding the digestive system by measuring yarn and pipe cleaners to match the scale steer.

6th grade Life Management got outside for some fresh air this afternoon!!




6th graders had fun playing coordinate plane battleship to wrap up this unit in math. Pretty competitive bunch we have here! They are great kids and I'm proud to be their teacher!








The Sully Buttes Marching Band has been practicing for months to get ready for the Gypsy Days Parade. The parents treated them to breakfast this morning to show their appreciation for all of their hard work and preparation!! Go Charger Band!! Good luck at Gypsy Days!









FCCLA Foster Closet Drive
Please take a second to support our FCCLA students and provide resources for foster families in our area and beyond.
Our FCCAL students will be gathering items at the Herreid-Selby football game on October 11th.


Thank you Charger Parents for showing up and showing out at Parent-Teacher Conferences!!! K-5 had an amazing 88% attendance rate and MS/HS had an impressive 80% attendance rate!
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work!

Dancing with the Fourth Graders! Fourth Grade music learning a new dance with song game. Hugh fives, singing, and plenty of laughs.




Mrs. Tassler’s Art students are having a GLOW-ING good time this week! 🎨✨ Our 2nd graders have been busy creating these amazing sugar skulls with glow-in-the-dark paint. They look spooky and cool during the day, but just wait until you see them under black lights!


The Sully Buttes Student Council attended a fall leadership conference at the Casey Tibbs Center in Fort Pierre.







Third graders learning about plant reproduction and pollination from Marla Huse. They got to enjoy some pineapple and home grown grapes from her garden as part of the lab. Good stuff!







Our 7th grade Art class is finally finishing up their incredible paper mache sculptures! We’re so excited to start painting them next week. Their “Alebrijes” are inspired by the Mexican artist Lourdes Villagómez, and we’re celebrating Latin American heritage with these vibrant and whimsical creations. Can’t wait to share the final results!
