Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well. As we approach the winter season, we wanted to take a moment to address the possibility of adverse weather conditions and how they may affect your child's attendance at school.
As you know, winter weather can sometimes bring challenging conditions, including snow, ice, and low temperatures. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities, and we want to ensure that everyone remains safe during potentially hazardous weather.
With this in mind, we would like to emphasize that the ultimate decision on whether to send your child to school on days with adverse winter conditions will be yours as parents or guardians. We understand that you know your child's transportation situation, comfort level with traveling in inclement weather, and any other factors that may influence your decision.
To assist you in making an informed choice, we will provide timely updates about weather conditions and any potential school closures or delays through various communication channels, including our school website, social media accounts, and the local news. Please make use of these resources to stay informed about the situation.
If you decide to keep your child home due to inclement weather, we fully support your decision and will ensure that students who are unable to attend school on such days will have opportunities to make up missed assignments and coursework.
On the other hand, if you believe it is safe for your child to attend school despite the weather conditions, we will be here to welcome them and provide a safe and warm environment for learning.
We encourage open communication between parents and our school administration during the winter season. If you have any concerns or questions about the school's approach to inclement weather, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Charger Fans-due to Internet issues within the school, DT will be broadcasting from a hot spot for tonight's game vs Phillip . This could cause delays and/or a blurry picture on his broadcast. The Sully Buttes live stream will be available as usual.

Coach Weischedel will be in contact with the girls wrestlers who are wrestling in Sioux Falls on Dec. 29th. All teams will practice on Dec. 28th: Basketball practices are at 9:00 /Wrestling TBD
