The MS volleyball camp in Jones County tomorrow has been cancelled. Instead, we will be having a team scrimmage at the Sully Buttes gym from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
Please send any bars or cookies for concessions with your athlete tomorrow or with the first shift on Tuesday.

Dear Sully Buttes Parents and Students,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Fall Sports Meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 6:30 PM. This important gathering is designed for parents and students from 6th through 12th grades.
The meeting will kick off with a brief discussion led by Mr. White, addressing both players and parents. Following this, there will be separate meetings for players and coaches to discuss the upcoming season, expectations, and preparations.
We strongly encourage all to attend to ensure you receive all the necessary information and to support our teams for a successful sports season. Your participation will help in fostering a collaborative and enthusiastic sports environment for our students.

Isabelle placed 2nd in the Nation in her FCCLA STAR Event - Red Talks for Education! Way to go Isabelle!


We've been having lots of fun during this year's Summer Reading Program at the library. Join us Wednesday (1-2:00 3rd through 5th; 2-3:00 PreK through 2nd; 3-4:00 tween/teens)for the last program of the summer. HTT Farms will be bringing their animals for us to see. Come see what animals they bring! Also, please bring your reading logs. I love seeing how much we've been reading!




Congratulations to Lucas YellowHawk for qualifying for the National High School Rodeo Finals in bareback riding. He will represent Sully Buttes in Rock Springs, WY July 14-20.

Students from 6th to 11th grade Art classes had the opportunity to participate in an Art Showcase at the Waterfront Art Gallery on Missouri Avenue in Pierre, displaying their artwork alongside other schools in the area. They had a great time appreciating other students' art pieces!










2nd period Life Management classes ended the year with students teaching 'adulting mini-lessons.' The assignment was to teach a short independent living or leisure skill that could be applied to anyone. (Apologies to Damian for not getting pictures of his pancake-dipped hotdogs).

The Agar-Blunt-Onida School District has several student desks that are being surplused. They are sitting outside the bus garage. If you need more, please let us know as there are quite a few at are still in the garage. If you would like one or two for a DIY project or for whatever, please stop by the bus garage and grab them. If they are not picked up by Tuesday, June 18 they will be taken to the dump.

Congratulations Gavin Colson! He is the 2024 class B boys golf medalist!!!! We would also like to congratulate Olivia Olson on her fifth place finish and Wesley Wittler on his eighth place finish. The boys team finished in eighth place. Congratulations to all of our golfers and coaches, Randy Pool and Kim Olson on an amazing season!

🏌️♂️🎉 What an amazing day for the Sully Buttes Golf Teams! The Boys team showed their skills by tying for second in the region tournament. A huge shoutout to Wesley Wittler for clinching the top spot in the boys' individual tournament, and to Gavin Colson for an impressive 2nd place finish!
🏌️♀️ On the Girls' side, the talent was just as impressive. Congratulations to Olivia Olson for securing a strong 2nd place and to Berkley Birney for a fantastic 7th place finish.
