Sully Buttes FFA attended the 96th South Dakota FFA Convention in Brookings, SD. Five Career Development Events Teams and Two Individuals qualified to compete at this year's convention. Addison Chicoine, Cayden Hilger, Lilly Paxton & Logan Severson all walked across the stage and earned their South Dakota FFA State Degrees! Congratulations!

Oh man!! We had the BEST time at the Buddy Ball with all of you. Beautiful princes and princesses and their 'courts' came out for a day of dancing, games, and SO MUCH fun! Thank you to everyone who came, and big thank you's to Tanya Yackley for the party setup, Miss Jack's Teen herself, Adrian, for celebrating with us, Izzy on the Yearbook staff for the photography, Oahe Grain and parent donations for the goodies and decorations, the HillTop for the delicious bars, and to Danielle Rausch at Something Beautiful for the popcorn bar! Such an incredible community that we have here; we are so grateful for ALL of the support of the PVC 💜 We can't wait until next year!!

The seventh grade Computer Multimedia class created surveys for the MS/HS students and staff with Microsoft Forms. With their data, they used Microsoft Excel to create tables and charts. The data shows that basketball is the favorite sport, mint chip is the favorite ice cream, and dogs are the favorite pet, to give some examples. Check out all of the results in the hallway by Miss Fischer's classroom!

There will be no varsity track meet in Pierre on Friday due to the weather. The Pierre Legion Meet will be pulled from our schedule. As a reminder the full MS track team will participate in Redfield on Monday, April 22 (weather pending as well).

The 7th grade purple group had an opportunity to visit the Sully County courthouse today for Social Studies class. April is Local Government month. Thank you to Susan Lamb for sharing the history of this building and informing us on how our local government works.

Reminder to all parents and students, the ABO school district will have 12:45 dismissal on Monday, April 15. The Charger Invite track meet will start field events at 10:30 and running events will begin at 1:00 pm.

April is Autism Awareness Month! And today we wore red to show support and acceptance of individuals on the Spectrum!

3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students participated in the American Legion Essay Contest again this year. Congratulations to the winners pictured; and good luck to Austin, Mariah, and Hallie whose papers will advance to the next level!🇺🇸🎉

Based on the weather forecast, the Charger Varsity Track Meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 has been rescheduled to MONDAY, APRIL 15, 10:30 a.m. start time. The ABO school district will have a 12:45 dismissal on Monday and will have full school days for the rest of the week.
