📚Book Tasting Day📚
It was a fun day in the ELA classroom today! 3rd/4th/5th grade students got to experience a "Book Tasting". The students rotated around six different pods of genres and got to "taste" different books. They reviewed, rated, and made lists of ones they hoped to read this year.
Favorite take aways on the day were the multiple kids who left excited and with new books, and the little love who said, "Mrs. Rausch, that book made my heart pop!"💜🥰

1st grader’s favorite part of the wee: Fun filled Friday!!

7th grade Creative Art Class delved into the life and work of Wassily Kandinsky, a renowned artist known for his use of synesthesia. Inspired by Kandinsky’s approach, students chose a favorite song and created stunning artwork that visually represented the music, effectively "painting" their chosen sounds. Check out their work and listen to the music that inspired them on Mrs. Tassler's website: https://sites.google.com/view/mrstassler/
