Our 2nd-grade art class dove into the wonderful world of museums this week! We talked about the importance of museums, and the students were so excited to share their own museum experiences.
After learning about the role of a curator, they became curators themselves! They browsed through art magazines and flashcards, carefully selecting pieces to replicate on their worksheets. Stay tuned to see how their projects turn out next week!

Kindergarten tech class is learning the important skill of working together and how technology can make life easier! Our challenge Monday was to make the tallest tower with our tech team. We did a great job.

5th graders are rocking life in the music room! Rhythms and playing written music are such a great skill to have. Soon they will be playing their instruments.

Third graders in our STEAM class had a blast this week! They kicked things off by learning what STEAM stands for and read the awesome book, "Be A Maker" by Katey Howes. Inspired by the story, they used their creativity to make things with Play-Doh based on fun prompts like their favorite sport or favorite food. So much fun and great to see them becoming little makers!

The Humanity Launch came today to share their incredible message with grades 6-12. We talked, we listened, we danced and we learned. Such great presenters and messages.

Our 8th graders artists are mastering Pointillism! They're using fine-point markers to create amazing art projects, applying thousands of tiny dots to form incredible images. It's a lesson in patience and precision, bringing a classic technique to life. Check out their amazing projects on Mrs. Tassler's website to see all their hard work! https://sites.google.com/view/mrstassler/8th-grade-pointillism
