Dr. Jalen Lamb and Dr. Jenna Wickersham, along with other medical professionals, will be providing free (no-cost) sports physicals for student-athletes entering grades 6–12 at Sully Buttes High School. This opportunity is made possible through a partnership with the Rural Family Medicine Residency and is designed to help ensure all student-athletes have the required health checks completed before participating in sports.
The physicals are scheduled for May 6. We ask that each student-athlete pick up a Physical/Pre-Participation Packet from the school office or print the packet at home by visiting: https://www.abo.k12.sd.us/page/forms
Please return the completed packet to the school within the next few weeks. Paperwork can be turned in at the High School office at any time, and we will collect and have it ready for the day of the student’s physical.
To help the process run smoothly, we would like all paperwork submitted the week before the physicals. We would like to remind parents to please complete the SDHSAA HEALTH HISTORY FORM that is included in the packet. This is an often-missed piece of paperwork that the doctors need completed.

The ABO School District would like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the outstanding individual honors earned during the 2025–26 basketball season.
First, congratulations to our YTC All-Conference selections. Earning First Team All-Conference honors are Wesley Wittler and Easton Moore. Second Team All-Conference recognition goes to Jadyn Jaeger, Scottlynn Kinney, Gavin Colson, and Jett Yackley.
We would also like to give special recognition to Wesley Wittler for being named a First Team All-State selection, as well as earning the prestigious Class B Spirit of Su Award.
Finally, we are proud to recognize three of our coaches for their outstanding contributions. Congratulations to Conner Dekker and Jesse Wittler on being named Region 3 Assistant Coaches of the Year. We would also like to congratulate Scott Senftner on being selected as the Region 1-4 Lower Level Boys Coach of the Year. Their dedication, leadership, and investment in our student-athletes continue to make a lasting impact on our programs.

Middle School Headphone Reminder
Parents,
As we prepare for testing next week, we are asking that all middle school students bring a pair of wired (NOT BLUETOOTH) headphones to school tomorrow or Friday if they have them available. Some portions of the test require audio, and headphones will be necessary.
Please note that Bluetooth or wireless headphones are not allowed, so students must bring WIRED headphones only.

Our 8th graders took a deep dive into the lives of legendary artists, researching their styles and impact before creating these stunning "Fragmented Faces." It’s incredible to see how they’ve interpreted the masters through their own creative lenses.

Our Family Fun Night was filled with hands-on STEAM activities, thanks to the Community, Family, and Special Services Dept, a Division of Black Hills Special Services Cooperative.

The kindergarten class read a story in class about a soup kitchen in the city and a food drive. The students then decided they wanted to donate food items to our local bank at the Presbyterian Church. Thank you to the families for donating items!
