Celebrating neurodiversity in our Art classroom! This month, our students explored the fascinating concept of neurodiversity – the understanding that neurological differences like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia are natural variations in the human brain, not deficits. To further understand and express this beautiful spectrum of minds, we delved into Neurographics, an art therapy technique blending creativity and mindfulness. This process encourages connecting with our inner selves through free-flowing lines and intuitive layering of colors and shapes – a wonderful way to quiet the mind, reduce stress, and explore thoughts and feelings visually and without judgment. Our 1st and 3rd grade artists blew us away this week with their incredible Neurodiversity art projects! In celebration of Autism Awareness, students dove into learning about neurodiversity and the beauty of our unique minds. By embracing both our similarities and differences, they created truly awesome artworks that represent themselves. Check out some of the amazing creations!

Schedule Update—Track Parents and Fans
We have added a meet to the varsity track schedule. On May 3rd, all athletes who do not qualify for the Dakota Relays will compete in the Eureka Legion Track Meet.
Field events will begin at 10:30 AM, with running events starting at 12:00 PM.

Great day of golf for the Chargers today in Faulkton. Individually Gavin claimed top honors shooting 5 over 73. Jonas finished 8th at 12 over 80. Wesley finished 10th 14 over 82. Lincoln was 17 over 85 good for 15th. The boys team tied with Miller and lost by 1 stroke in the playoff to finish second. On the girls side, Olivia Olson finished 5th at 90. Next up is the YTC Conference Tourney next Thursday in Eureka.

All Freshman Impact helpers need to report to the school at 7:15 tomorrow.
Parking will be limited; please park in between the practice field and the football field, or by the pool park. We will be outside some throughout the day, so please dress accordingly. For any questions please contact Mary Jo.
Attention Elementary volleyball players and parents: the scrimmage with Herreid-Selby Area will have a start time of 5:30 and will take place in the MPR in Onida. Three games will be played, tentatively to conclude around 7:30.
Please let Coach Stier or Coach Fischer if you will be unable to attend.

Charger Invite Meet Schedule
The Sully Buttes FFA hosted our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Kids up to age 8 searched high and low for eggs. Thank you to all the members who helped out to make this another Charger win!
The competition was fierce in the 7th graders' Jeopardy game reviewing photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Rock, paper, scissors final battle to determine our class winner!!
