Witness the incredible artistic journeys of our eighth-grade students! They recently dove deep into the world of art history, each independently selecting a renowned artist from different eras and cultures. From intensive research into their chosen master's life and techniques to crafting their own unique mixed media interpretations, the creativity has been truly inspiring! These young artists not only deepened their understanding of art history but also discovered their own artistic voices. Want to see the amazing results of their hard work and exploration? Get ready for some sweet art creations! Our 3rd grade artists have been having a blast getting their hands messy with air dry clay, transforming it into delicious-looking pop tarts! It's been a fun and imaginative way to explore sculpture and bring their favorite treats to life! In Art class, we've been celebrating neurodiversity and Autism Awareness Month! Our young artists are exploring the fascinating concept that neurological differences, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others, are natural variations in the human brain. Check out the 5th-grade projects and stay tuned to see all the incredible projects our elementary artists have created in celebration of neurodiversity! Remember, whether neurotypical or neurodivergent, we all face challenges and have unique interests and perspectives. Let's embrace and celebrate the beautiful diversity of human minds!
