One Book, One School 2024 begins on Monday! This year’s title is “How to Steal a Dog” by Barbara O’Connor. Books, reading calendars, and bookmarks go home on Monday. Each child will receive a copy of the novel.
Jack's Teen Adrian Gruis came into the First Grade classroom to read a story.

Miss Siouxland's Teen, Evian Johnson visited our school today. She along with Miss Jack's Teen, Adrian Gruis, donated a book about Dyslexia to the Onida Elementary classes and the Sully Area Library.
Weathering, Erosion, and Deposition. 4th graders were able to enjoy beautiful February weather Monday and do an activity outside! They demonstrated how water with different speeds causes different rates of erosion.

Special thanks to Jamie Nolte for bringing her Llama and Alpaca to the school today. They were here to visit with the 7th grade Geography classes who just finished a unit on Sout America!
Today we held a K-12 school assembly to recognize and celebrate all of the outstanding educators at ABO that received a nomination for the 2023-24 District Teacher of the Year as well as announce the winner! We had a fantastic number of teachers nominated, seventeen in total. The nominees were Randy Pool, Lynn Senftner, Cherie Hill, Hayley Miller, Erica Paxton, Marlee Henrichsen, Scott Senftner, Tracy Wientjes, Jessica Rausch, Angie Hill, Patti Jordre, Dianna Knox, Tom Moore, Conner Dekker, Kristen Pittmann, Sole Tassler, and Susie Rilling! AND THE WINNER IS... CONGRATULATIONS MRS. JESSICA RAUSCH!!! ABO TEACHER OF THE YEAR!
